Abstract
The secondary metabolites was isolated from endophytic fungi Fusarium sp of brotowali leaves (Tinospora crispa L). Isolation begin with cultivation of Fusarium sp fungi in 2 L of PDB media (Potato Dextrose Broth) for eight weeks. Media was extracted used ethyl acetate as a solvent followed by evaporation proces. Separation and purification of isolated compound was conducted by chromatographic technique. Antibacterial activity by disc diffiision method was tested with test bacteria E. coli, S. dysentriae, S. aureus, dan B.subtilis.This compound in the form of white crystal with melting point 230°C. Base on spectroscopy analysis data UV, IR, !H-NMR, I3C-NMR, HMQC, HMBC, and COSY showed that result of isolation compound was 7,8-dihydroxy-3,7- dimethyl-6-oxo-7,8-dihydro-6-isochromene-5-carbaldehyde. The isolated compounds showed weak antibacterial activity category at a concentration of 1000 ppm against four bacterial test, with inhibition zone diameter respectively 7.3; 6.5; 7.2; and 6.5 mm.
