Abstract
The objective of the research was to know the response of P. xylos1ella larvae to various concentration of lime leaves. The research was conducted at laboratory of Entomology and greenhouse Plant Pests and Disease Department, Agricultural Faculty Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ifom July 2004 until February 2005. The research was arranged in completely randomized design with using five treatments and five replicalions. The parameter were mortality of larvae, feeding ability, pupae fonning ability, and adult emerging. The results showed that the plant extract of lime leaves with various concentration affected the mortality of larvae, feeding ability, pupae fonning ability, and adult emerging. The average of the highest percentage mortality of larvae P. xylostella was on 8 percent treatment i.e 76 percent, while the lowest degree on control i.e 10 percent. The average of the highest percentage feeding ability of larvae was on control i.e 3.07 cm2, while the lowest degree on 4 percent treatment i.e 1.48 cm2. For the average of the highest percentage pupae fonning ability was on control i.e 90 percent, while the lowest degree on 8 percent treatment i.e 24 percent. For the average of the highest percentage adult emerging was on control i.e 90 percent, while the lowest degree on 8 percent treatment i.e 6 percent.
