Abstract
The objective of the research was to study the antagonistic activities of Trichoderma originated from the rhizosfer and non-rhizosfer of chili grown in swampy field in inhibiting the development of F. oxysporum. The research was conducted on July 2004 in Distric Inderalaya, Ogan Ilir. Resulted data were descriptively analyzed by presenting in figure and tables. The results showed that the metabolite compounds of Trichoderma of rhizosfer and non-rhizosfer in inhibiting the germination ofF. oxysporum spores were different. Isolates of antagonistic fungi TNR2, TNR6, and TNR7 showed the high capacity in inhibiting F. oxysporum spores germination over 78%. Among rhizosfer Trichoderma, TR2, TR5, and TR7 ware the isolate with high capacity in inhibiting F. oxysporum spores germination over 75%. Hyperparasitism activity of all Trichoderma tested againt F. oxysporum hyperparasite activity by penetrating the hifa ofthe host fungi.
