Abstract

Was done metabolit's compound insulation secondary of mundar's plant leaf {Garcinia. forbesii King) with ektraksi's method and kromatografi. Molecular structures result compound insulates to be determined bases IR's spectroscopy data, NMR 1D and NMR 2D. Isolating yielding compound as crystal of yellow with melting point 212 214 0 C. Base analisis spectroscopy data is concluded that isolating yielding compound is agglomerate compound xanthone which is 1,3,5 - trihidroksi-7-metoksi-8-(3,7 - dymethyls 2,6 - oktadienil)xanthone. Result tests antimalaria's activity to Plasmodium falciparum 3D7assigns IC 50 0,01053 pg / mL or 0,0257 pM, one that betokens that this santon's compound active as antimalaria.
