Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang pengaruh variasi temperatur hidrocracking terhadap sifat fisika produk hidrocracking minyak jarak pagar dengan katalis Mo-zeolit alam aktif. Proses hidrocracking minyak jarak pagar dilakukan dengan variasi temperatur 250°C, 300°C, 350°C, 400°C, 450°C, 500°C dan 550°C, laju alir gas hidrogen 3,5 mL/mnt dan berat katalis 1,5 g. Produk hidrocracking minyak jarak pagar dianalisa meliputi kalor pembakaran, densitas, viskositas dan indeks bias ' dengan menggunakan alat kalorimeter bom, piknometer, viskometer Ostwald dan refraktometer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai terbaik kalor pembakaran, densitas, viskositas dan indeks bias berturut-turut sebesar 53,0003 kJ/g; 0,9698 g/mL; 3,1691 poise dan 1,4678 yang dicapai pada temperatur hidrocracking 350°C.
