Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of regional gross domestic product, population and number of patients on the regency/city health service retribution income in South Sumatra province. The data used in this study is panel data from 17 regencies/cities in South Sumatra from 2015 to 2020. The analytical technique used is the multiple linear regression analysis technique of panel data with a fixed effect model (FEM) approach. The results of this study indicate that regency/city health service retribution income in South Sumatra during the year of observation tends to fluctuate while the variables of gross regional domestic product, population and number of patients show an increase every year. The estimation results show that simultaneously the variables of gross regional domestic product, population and number of patients affect the income of health service while partially only the gross regional domestic product variables have a positive and significant effect on the income of health service.
