Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya luasan areal budidaya tambak di Sumatera Selatan mengakibatkan produksi udang dari tahun ke tahun meningkat, peningkatan akan berdampak pada keuntungan dalam usaha budidaya tambak udang windu.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara finansial kelayakan usaha serta kriteria investasi usaha budidaya tambak udang Windu. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kabupaten OKI, Banyuasin dan Musi Banyuasin Provinsi Sumatera Selatan bulan Agustus 2010. Metode kuesioner digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan jumlah sampel 110 petani dan pemilik tambak. Hasil analisis kelayakan usaha menunjukkan bahwa usaha budidaya Tambak Udang Windu di Kabupaten OKI memperoleh keuntungan terbesar Rp.51.946.341,25 per tahun di susul Kabupaten Banyuasin Rp. 46.674.875 dan Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin Rp.37.438.933. Hasil analisis kriteria investasi menunjukkan nilai NPV kabupaten OKI, Banyuasin dan Musi Bayuasin, sebesar Rp. 131.651.455,92, Rp. 113.480.019, Rp.75.563.153. Nilai Net B/C 2,28, 2,18, dan 1,99 dan IRR 47%, 48% dan 44%, sehingga usaha budidaya tambak udang windu di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dapat dilanjutkan.
