Abstract
This study aims to produce learning media and determine the feasibility of learning media based on Sparkol VideoScribe in learning to write fable texts. This study uses the research and development method using the research and development steps of Sugiyono. Data collection techniques in this study used interview techniques, questionnaires or questionnaires, and assessment sheets. The results of this study are that teachers and students need learning media to write fable texts based on Sparkol VideoScribe to foster students' motivation and interest in writing and help students learn independently. The test of the validity of the Sparkol VideoScribe-based learning media for learning to write fable texts was validated by media experts, material experts, and linguists. The validity test by media experts got a score of 3,50 with a maximum score of 4,00 and can be categorized as very good. The validity test by material experts got a score of 3,67 with a maximum score of 4,00 and can be categorized as very good. The validity test by linguists got a score of 3,00 with a maximum score of 4,00 and can be categorized as good. Thus, it is concluded that the learning media for writing fable text based on Sparkol VideoScribe is feasible and suitable to be tested in learning to write fable text.
