Abstract
This research, entitled "Development of Audiovisual Based Learning Media Using Adobe After Effects with The Material of Gua Putri Prehistoric Site for Class X Senior High School History Lesson" contains data on culture in Gua Putri Prehistoric Site, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. This research has been applied in class X Social Sciences 2 Plus Srijaya Negara High School Palembang. The aims of this research is to develop the valid teaching materials by using Adobe After Effects that have an effective impact on history lesson at the Srijaya State High School in Palembang. This is a development research that use the Alessi and Trollip model. The validity of teaching material is validated by four experts, they are material expert, learning design expert, media expert and linguist. The validity of the material is 3.79 categorized as valid, the validity of the learning design is 4.27 categorized as very valid, the validity of the media is 4.41 categorized as very valid, the validity of language is 4.58 categorized as very valid. Relatively the results of the alpha test get an average value of 4.26 categorized as very valid. The effect of audiovisual Adobe After Effects based learning media for history lesson at Srijaya Negara Palembang Senior High School can be proven by the increase of student learning outcomes before and after using learning media at the field trial stage by 35% with an N-gain of 0.68. This proves that the audiovisual Adobe After Effects learning media, the Gua Putri Prehistoric Site material for history lesson in class X high school has a valid and effective value.
