Abstract
This study aims to get student perceptions of learning using a virtual laboratory for biochemistry practicum courses. This research is a descriptive study using a quantitative approach. The population of this study were students of the Chemical Education Study Program, Sriwijaya University class of 2018 and 2019. The research sample was 125 students based on purposive sampling. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire with 4 indicators of perception, namely Perception of lecturers, Perception of the teaching and learning process, Perception of the social environment, and Perception of assessment. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics. The results showed that in general students' perceptions of learning using virtual laboratories showed good category overall student perception of learning using virtual laboratories was good. The results of the perception per indicator show that the perception of lecturers is in the good category, the perception of the teaching and learning process is in the good category, the perception of the social environment is in the good category, and the perception of the assessment is in the good category. The conclusion of this study is that the overall perception of students towards biochemistry practicum learning is good.
