Abstract

Background: Pregnancy complications and the risk of death in pregnant women are not detected due to incomplete Antenatal Care (ANC) examinations. Pregnant women should have at least 4 check-ups during pregnancy. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a strong impact on health services. All activities must be limited, including ANC visits. Pregnancy check-ups during the pandemic will certainly experience obstacles. Therefore, the government through the Ministry of Health has made a policy in practical instructions to health services for pregnant women that pregnancy check-ups can be carried out as long as pregnant women and health workers implement the COVID-19 health protocol. Objective: To analyze the implementation of Antenatal Care service policies for pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kepahiang Regency using Edward III's theory. Research Methods: The research was conducted in Kepahiang Regency, Bengkulu. This study used qualitative descriptive design with purposive sampling technique.
