Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan multirepresentasi mahasiswa calon guru fisika pada materi sifat-sifat cahaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan secara online menggunakan google meet dan melibat 53 orang mahasiswa semester 5 Pendidikan fisika Universitas Sriwijaya tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen bentuk uraian berjumlah 8 soal yang dibagi lagi menjadi beberapa tipe soal representasi yaitu verbal, matematis dan gambar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase kemampuan multirepresentasi paling tinggi berada pada tipe soal representasi verbal – matematis. Selanjutnya persentase kemampuan untuk tipe soal gambar – verbal sebesar 59%, tipe soal verbal – verbal sebesar 63% dan kemampuan multirepresentasi paling rendah yaitu 47% untuk tipe soal verbal – gambar. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran tentang kemampuan multirepresentasi pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Sriwijaya.
