Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas E-Learning berbasis Schoology pada materi suhu dan kalor yang digunakan pada pembelajaran fisika di SMA Negeri 9 Palembang ditinjau dari hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experiment dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest Design yaitu sebuah kegiatan penelitian eksperimen dengan cara memberikan tes awal (pretest) sebelum diberikan perlakuan, selanjutnya baru diberikan tes akhir (posttest). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik SMA 9 Palembang. Dan sample pada penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 9 Palembang. Pada proses pembelajarannya menggunakan E-Learning berbasis Schoology. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes hasil belajar peserta didik dalam bentuk soal uraian dan hasil tes ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis N-Gain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai pretest yang diperoleh peserta didik adalah 50,78 dan rata-rata posttest yaitu 81,72. Kemudian untuk analisis gain yang ternormalisasi (N-Gain) didapatkan hasil sebesar 0,63 yang termasuk dalam kategori N-gain sedang. Selanjutnya untuk analisis presentase pendapat peserta didik terhadap penggunaan E-Learning berbasis Schoology diperoleh hasil rata-rata sebesar 84,31% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dengan kata lain pembelajaran menggunakan E-Learning berbasis Schoology efektif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik terhadap materi suhu dan kalor. Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, Hasil Belajar, Schoology
