Abstract
This research aims to study the effects of compost enriched with Rhizobium, Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria and Mycorrhizae on the yield of chilli pepper (Capsicum annum L.). This research has been conducted at Greenhouse of Agricultural Faculty Sriwijaya University from May until August 2009. Soil and plant samples were analyzed at Chemistry, Biology and Soil Fertility Laboratory Agricultural Faculty, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. Greenhouse research using pot experiment was conducted using completely randomized design with 10 treatments and three replications. The results showed that application of enriched compost was able to increase crop yields of chili (Capsicum annum L). Application of 15 tons ha compost gave the best yield of hot peppers. Application of compost (enriched or not enriched) was also able to increase plant growth such as height and total leaves of chili.
