Abstract

Coral reefs are an essential ecosystem because coral reefs can be a place for various biota to spawn, grow, and breed. Coral reefs are also an endangered ecosystem that are caused by nature and human activity alike. The purpose of this research is to analyze coral covers and it’s connection to the water parameter of kelagian island. This research is conducted on 5th February 2021 until 12th February 2021 on Kelagian island, Lampung. The data processing were done by using a CPCe software. The data collection were done by a UPT (Underwater photo Transect) method. The results of this research shows that the coral reefs in the kelagian island’s water are in good condition, and the water parameter of kelagian island are still fit for the coral reefs to life.
