Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the human resource function at PT Sriwijaya Bangkit Energi in order to identify the shortcomings and weaknesses in the management and implementation of the human resource function so that necessary improvements can be made in the future. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Interviews and questionnaires were conducted at the head of the personnel division of PT Sriwijaya Bangkit Energi. The results of this study indicate that most of the employees accepted in the recruitment of PT Sriwijaya Bangkit Energi are not competent in their fields, the function of training and human resource development is not planned, there is no award for employees who excel, the job appraisal function has not been carried out effectively.
