Abstract

This research is entitled "Development of the Al-Istiqomah Al-Islamiyah Foundation (Al-Istiqomah Islamic Center) in Prabumulih City in 2005-2019". The problems studied in this paper are what is the background of the establishment of the Al-Istiqomah Al-Islamiyah Foundation (Al-Istiqomah Islamic Center), then how the development of the Al-Istiqomah Al-Islamiyah Foundation (Al-Istiqomah Islamic Center) from the beginning established until 2019, what are the forms of activities and developments that occur at the Al-Istiqomah Al-Islamiyah Foundation (Islamic Center Al-Istiqomah), and what are the challenges and influences of the establishment of the Al-Istiqomah Islamic center. Furthermore, the purpose of this research is to find out the background of the establishment and developments that occurred at the Al-Istiqomah Al-Islamiyah Foundation or the Al-Istiqomah Islamic Center from its inception to development, Knowing developments in various fields such as education and da'wah and other Islamic activities, Knowing the influence of and challenges regarding the establishment of the Al-Istiqomah Al-Islamiyah Foundation or the Al-Istiqomah Islamic Center. The method used in this research is the historical method by carrying out four stages, namely heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Then from the results of the study it was found that the development of the Al-Istiqomah Al-Islamiyah Foundation (Islamic Center Al-Istiqomah) was founded in 2005, with developments that can be seen from the aspect of da'wah, education, and other activities.
