Abstract
Analysis of Rainfall Data and Water Level on Peatlands During the 2018 and 2020 La Niña Phenomena Based on Data From SESAME Measurements By: Nurul Ulfani 08021181823008 ABSTRACT Weather is a condition atmosphere at a certain time and place and is usually calculated for daily condition. For this reason, research was carried out on analyzing rainfall data and water level on peatlands when the la Niña phenomenon occurred. This research was conducted in 2018 and 2020., this is because in 2018 there was weak la Niña and moderate La Niña, so it is interestingto study learn what happened in those two years. The study area of this research is located in the West Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan regions. The processed data is data from SESAME in the form of hourly rainfall data and hourly water level data. Converted into new data and then reprocessed into monthly data. Based on this graph, it can be seen the difference in rainfall and water level for 2018 when there was a weak La Niña phenomenon and in 2020 when there was a moderate la Niña, and we can see the difference for the west Kalimantan region. And Central Kalmantan during this study, it was found that there was a relationship between rainfall and water level, and the correlation between rainfall and water level could be determined.
