Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui proses manajemen acara yang dilakukan oleh penyelenggara acara Love Yourself Speak Yourself, serta apakah acara tersebut berkontribusi dalam meliterasi peserta mengenai kesehatan mental. Penelitian ini merupakan tipe penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan teori event management milik Shone dan Parry yang membagi manajemen acara dalam lima tahapan, yakni objectives and getting started, planning, organizing and preparing, implementing (running the event),serta divestment/ legacy. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pihak penyelenggara acara Love Yourself Speak Yourself telahmelalui lima tahapan tersebut. Meskipun demikian, tetap ada beberapa hambatan yang muncul. Diketahui pula bahwa acara ini hanya memberikan literasi sebatas knowledge (pengetahuan) kepada peserta, namun belum memberi pengaruh pada perubahan attitude (sikap).
