Abstract
Research of “Potential Test and Synergism of Nitrogen Fixing Bacteria and Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria Isolate from Ultisol Soil at Some Areas in South Sumatera Province” had been done on June until August 2014 at Laboratory of Microbiology, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Sriwijaya Univesity. This research aimed to determine the potential ofDencia sp.l, Dencia sp.2, Erwinia sp. dan Pseudomonas sp. in fixing nitrogen and solubilizing phosphate and to know their synergism. The variable of this research were synergism among bacteria, bacterial colonies formed and halozone formed. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance and DNMRT 5%. The result of this research showed that the four isolates were able fixing nitrogen and solubilizing phosphate had synergism among them. Dencia sp.l is the best isolate in fbcing nitrogen with an average diameter of colony 8.13 mm. Pseudomonas sp. is the best isolate in solubilizing phosphate in Picovskaya medium AIPO4 and FePC>4 as source of phosphate with an average halozone 8.68 mm dan 8.61 mm. The result of synergism nitrogen fixing bacteria and phosphate solubilizing bacteria showed that Pseudomonas sp. were able synergy with Dencia sp.l, Dencia sp.2, Pseudomonas sp. and Erwinia sp. with synergism percentage 100%, Dencia sp.l were able synergy with Dencia sp.l, Dencia sp.2 and Pseudomonas sp. with synergism percentage 75%, Dencia sp.2 were able synergy with Derxia sp.l, Dencia sp.2 and Pseudomonas sp. with synergism percentage 75%, whereas Erwinia sp. were able synergy with Pseudomonas sp. and Erwinia sp. with synergism percentage 50%.
