Abstract
PT. Buana Eltra is one of the companies engaged in mining in the village of Mount Kuripan District Pengandonan Ogan Komering Ulu. Coal mined by the company requires a technical review of the coal stockpiling system in the stockpile area that serves to regulate the good coal hoarding system, so that the quality of coal can be maintained. Stockpile management is an effort to make the coal produced can be controlled, both quantity and quality. In addition, stockpile management is also intended to reduce losses that may arise from the process of handling coal in the stockpile. Quality and quantity of coal is an important factor that must be considered by coal producers to meet consumer demand. One way to maintain the quality and quantity of coal after being mined is the technical hoarding. Problems arising from the accumulation of coal include the presence of Spontanious combastioun symptoms on the coal deposits that have been too long and quality changes. From result of study dimension at stockpile km 0 PT. Buana Eltra is the actual condition of stockpile stockpile which has 500 m3 stockpile floor and there are two piles of coal (A) yeng consist of length 130 m, width 60 m. and the stack (B) is 140 m long, 110 m wide with 380 mt pile stack (A) and 236,548,5998 ton / m3 stacked (B) stacks 380 mt / m3 stacked (B). the applied hoarding pattern is cone shaped / chevron, on the application of chevron pattern made the compaction effort to the coal pile and do the height reduction to the coal pile in order to reduce the risk of spontanious combastioun to the accumulation of coal in the stockpile km pile 0.
