Abstract

This study aims at producing higher order thingking skills questions of chemistry of colligative properties’s materials that is valid and reliable, as well as difficulty level and distinguishing power of questions developed. The development model used in making this problem is the Mc.Intire’s problem development model. Data collection methods used are expert validation and tests. Based on analysis result from expert validation, the questions were declared valid that seen from the critical r value > r table value which is 0.7143 > 0.5140, with categorized as high validity in terms of material experts, construction experts, and linguists. Based on analysis result from the test there are 11 valid description questions with an average validity value is 0.670 (high validity) and the average reliability value is 0.836 (high correlation), as well as the level of difficulty is 0.431 (medium) and the distinguishing power is 0.391 (ennough).
