Abstract

Apparatus facilities and infrastructure are crucial factors in supporting the implementation and ensuring the smooth running of employees' work activities to achieve the agency's goals. Therefore, it is required to manage adequate facilities and infrastructure. This study aims to determine the Budget Management of the Apparatus Facilities and Infrastructure Improvement Program at the Dinas Sosial Kota Palembang (Palembang Social Agency). The qualitative was used as the study method, and it was based on the results of interviews, observations and documentation. The theory employed in this study is Ahmad Yani's financial management theory, which comprises three aspects: planning and budgeting, financial implementation and administration, and financial accountability. This study's finding concludes that the Budget Management of the Apparatus Facilities and Infrastructure Improvement Program at the Social Service of Palembang City in 2020 has not been optimized in terms of planning, budgeting, implementation, administration, and financial accountability because there are still some obstacles. This study suggests creating the program's SOP and maintaining a more regular SOP filing system, using the available budget efficiently, and forming a dedicated team from the agency's internal for financial audits.
