Abstract

Cyber attacks on SCADA systems are becoming an increasingly worrying threat. Because they have security holes and attackers can weaken the Intrusion Detection System (IDS) security sensors, especially the Man In The Middle attack which was found attack the IEC 60780-5-104 protocol, which modifies data packets payload M_ME_NB_1 <CaauseTX=42> IOA=1 on the An Open Framework for Deploying Experimental SCADA Testbed Networks dataset. For this reason, it is necessary to develop an additional security system that detects actual data security threats on the SCADA network, that's why the Logistic Regression (LR) classification model based on supervised learning in machine learning can be a solution in classifying and improving attack detection systems on SCADA network protocols (IEC 60870- 5-104).
