Abstract

Color Burai Village is one of the tourist villages in Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province. This village is a water tourism village or marine tourism, which also has a lot of potential for craft and culinary tourism in it. But the management in this village still has some problems ranging from tourist facilities, accommodation and so on. This study was conducted to analyze the causes of problems in the management of tourism potential in Burai Village. This research is descriptive qualitative research using primary data and secondary data. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews with several key and non-key informants, as well as documentation techniques carried out at the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office of Ogan Ilir Regency. The data were analyzed using an interactive model using Atlas. Ti 9 software. The results of the study indicate that the management of tourist villages in the Ogan Ilir Regency does not have RIPARDA which is the main guideline in tourism management and development, in addition to the absence of regulations and policies related to tourism development. and tourist villages. Tourism products produced by local communities are not given training in product marketing and there is no assistance to market existing products in the form of handicrafts and culinary. Based on these findings, the researcher recommends that there is a need for RIPARDA so that the management of tourist villages has clear guidelines. The need for guidance for village MSMEs that make tourism products, besides tourism product marketing is also needed to increase village MSMEs.
