Abstract

In the assessment process for prospective BSPS recipients in the previous system, the assessment was based on the results of observations in the field but did not use value indicators in the assessment process. In order for aid to be distributed fairly and on target, a decision support system is needed that can provide recommendations for eligible citizens to receive assistance. This study aims to build a decision support system for recipients of the BSPS program in Palembang City using the SAW method. The SAW method is a method that can select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, besides that the assessment will be more precise because it is based on the criterion value of the predetermined weight. The application of the SAW method in this decision support system can assist decision makers in determining BSPS recipients based on the final results in the form of final grades and rankings.
