Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan anxiety attachment dan avoidance attachment dengan dating violence pada emerging adult. Hipotesis di dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan anxiety attachment dan ada hubungan avoidance attachment dengan dating violence pada emerging adult. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah emerging adult yang menjalin hubungan pacaran pada rentang usia 18 – 25 tahun. Pengambilan 0sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Variabel adult attachment dan dating violence dalam penelitian ini diukur menggunakan modifikasi skala baku milik Fraley, Waller, dan Brennan (2000) dan Wolfe, Scott, Reitzel-Jaffe, Wekerle, Grasley dan Straatman (2001). Pengujian hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik spearman rank. Hasil pengujian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan anxiety attachement dengan dating violence p=0,000 (p<0,05) dan ada hubungan antara avoidance attachment dengan dating violence p=0,020 (p<0,05) dan koefisien korelasi yang masing-masing sebesar 0,338. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian tersebut maka hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima.
