Abstract

Economic development has reached a stage that requires economic activities to be able to find new innovations and creativity. The existence of creative industries spread throughout the Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI) Regency, is a factor that makes it difficult for local and foreign communities to visit, get and get to know local industries typical of the OKI Regency. Therefore, there is a need for facilities that can accommodate all creative industries in the OKI Regency in one place in order to provide facilities and introduce the wealth and creativity of local industries owned by the OKI Regency. The design of this Creative Industry Center aims to be a place to introduce and promote all creative industries in the OKI Regency. There are facilities, namely commercial and educational. The design of the industrial center is designed by optimizing the functional and comfortable aspects, by adjusting the zoning of the space through the characteristics of each room in order to give a comfortable impression for building users. The Creative Industry Center is designed by applying the Neo-vernacular concept. The application of this concept can respond to the times and does not abandon the cultural values it has, because most of the creative industry works that develop in the OKI Regency basically have cultural values. So that with the existence of the OKI Creative Industry Center, outside and local people can more easily recognize the works of the local creative industry, so that they can have high economic value and improve the economic level of the community.
