Abstract

The purpose of this research are to: 1) Analyzing the impact of fresh fruit bunch price change to income in fulfillment of proper life needof oil palm plasma farmer at Sukadamai Village Of Sub District Tanjung Lago Banyuasin, 2) Counting the contribution of other revenues to household income of oil palm plasma farmer, 3) Analyzing the prosperity of plasma farmer at at Sukadamai Village Of Sub District Tanjung Lago Banyuasin to household income accepted after the oil palm fell down in line the standar of proper life need. This research was conducted at Sukadamai Village Of Sub District Tanjung Lago Banyuasin. Sample collection with simple random sampling method by taking 30 plasma farmers as a sample from Sukadamai Village with total population are 426 plasma farmers. The result of this research indicate that the source of livelihood plasma farmer do are non farming oil palm such as rice plant and corn, and non farming such as farm worker, trader, and constructuin worker. Income of palm oil farming of plasma farmer before the palm oil price fell down is higher than income after the price of oil palm fell down by a difference income Rp. 1.267.079 per claim of month. The decline of fresh fruit bunch price taken effect in realmto palm oil plasma farmer’s income. The contribution of other revenues to household income of plasma farmer is 39%, so that the other revenues such as rice plant and corn big taken effect to increase a plasma farmer’s household. Standar of Proper Life Need of Desa Sukadamai is Rp. 1.262.932 per person of month, with KHL average of plasma farmer’s family is Rp. 3.137.965 per person of month and with income of plasma farmer’s household is Rp. 5.975.117 per family of month, so there is a differences between household income to family’s proper life need is Rp. 2.837.152 per family of month. The income of palm oil plasma farmer’s household has been reached a standar of proper life need (KHL).
