Abstract

This study has identified groundwater using a 1-D geoelectrical resistivity method with the wenner configuration in Kahuripan Baru Village, Empat Petulai Dangku District, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatera Province. This study was to know groundwater prospect laterally and recommendation of groundwater drilling points in the research area. The measurement was did at 47 points in the study area and mapped with ArcGis 10.8, with the length of each point is 210 meters and electrode spacing is 5 meters. The measurement data were processed using Surfer 13 and ArcGis 10.8 software. Based on the apparent isoresistivity processed using Surfer 13, it shows that the groundwater aquifer layer is thought to be at values ab⁄2= 45 m to ab⁄2= 82.5 m and the recommended drilling point is at latitude 3°24'41.08”S and longitude 104°5' 5.18”E. Through the correlation at datum 87,88 and 96, it’s assumed that there are 3 layers, namely layer of gravel sand with a layer of silt, layer of sand and dry gravel and layer of clay.
