Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi, mengkarakterisasi dan mengidentifikasi cendawan ektomikoriza pada berbagai tegakan tanaman tahunan (pinus, pelawan, karet dan kelapa sawit) di Kecamatan Koba Kabupaten Bangka Tengah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Maret hingga Mei 2012. Pengambilan sampel tanah untuk penelitian ini dilakukan pada beberapa tegakan tanaman tahunan di Kecamatan Koba Kabupaten Bangka Tengah. Isolasi, karakterisasi, dan identifikasi cendawan ektomikoriza serta analisis kesuburan tanah dilakukan di Laboratorium Kimia, Biologi dan Kesuburan Tanah Jurusan Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya Indralaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa spesies cendawan ektomikoriza yang ditemukan pada berbagai tegakan tanaman tahunan berbeda-beda, yaitu spesies Pluteus longistratus (47 spora/10 g tanah) di bawah tegakan tanaman pinus, Boletus sp. (7 spora/10 g tanah) di bawah tegakan tanaman pelawan, Cortinarius caperatus (4 spora/10 g tanah) di bawah tegakan tanaman karet dan Cortinarius anomalus (3 spora/10 g tanah) di bawah tegakan tanaman kelapa sawit. Keberadaan cendawan ektomikoriza sangat ditentukan oleh kondisi lingkungan yang cocok seperti suhu udara, curah hujan dan kelembaban
