Abstract

OHS Risk Management is an effort to manage risk to prevent unwanted accidents in a comprehensive, planned and structured manner in a good system. The implementation of land clearing for FKM plantations in the Taman Firdaus Reservoir area has various kinds of hazards and risks that can be encountered that interfere with the production process and can cause accidents. This study aims to analyze K3 risk management with the HIRARC method on land clearing for FKM plantations in the Taman Firdaus Reservoir area. This research is a qualitative research by observing the work environment and processes as well as in-depth interviews, and then determining the level of risk using the HIRARC method, starting from Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control. The results of the identification of hazardsto workers in FKM plantation land clearing activities contained 5 stages of activity and 58 potential hazards were found at each stage, including the risk of rolling over, slipping, being crushed, injured, slashed, muscle pain, joint pain, low back pain, sunburn. , dehydration, respiratory problems, eye irritation, itching, impaired hand function, noise, or fire. The results of the risk analysis, at the activity stage include 12 hazard with low risk (20,68 %), 41 hazard with moderate risk (70,68 %), and 5 hazard with high risk (8,62 %). With the given control using a control hierarchy starting from elimination, substitution, engineering, administration, and PPE.
