Abstract
Stress is a respondent's condition caused by factors outside/in the individual's body which can disrupt the psychological and physiological balance. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between physical activity and stress levels during the Covid-19 pandemic in the community in Kecamatan Indralaya Utara. This quantitative study with a sample size of 104 uses a cross sectional research design with purposive sampling technique. Respondents experience stress if they have a score ≥ 15. Statistical analysis performed includes univariate analysis, bivariate analysis using chi-square test and simple logistic regression, as well as multivariate analysis of multiple logistic regression types of risk factor models. The results showed that the prevalence of stress was 9.6%. Multivariate analysis showed that there was no relationship between physical activity and stress levels after controlling for variables of age, marital status, gender, work status, and smoking status (p-value 0.344, PR 3.721, 95% CI:0.245-56.525). The conclusion of the study is that community stress levels are not related to levels of physical activity during the Covid-19 pandemic. Puskesmas provide counseling or provide leaflets about GERMAS information and how to prevent and manage stress regularly to the community.
