Abstract

The purposes of this study are to (1) Knowing the perception of farmers on climate change in rice farming in Sungai Pinang Village Rambutan District of Banyuasin Regency, (2) Calculate the amount of production and income of paddy swamp rice farm in Sungai Pinang Village Rambutan Sub-district Banyuasin Regency, (3) Analyze the relation between farmer perception with production and income of rice farming of at Sungai Pinang Village Rambutan Sub-district of Banyuasin Regency. This research has been be conducted in Sungai Pinang Village, Rambutan Sub-district, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatera Province. The method used in this research was survey method. Primary and secondary data obtained in the field were processed by tabulation then described descriptively in accordance with the objectives to be achieved. Sampling method used in this research was simple random sampling method sample farmers as many as 30 people from 330 farmer population The results showed the perception of perception of farmers on climate change in rice farming at Sungai Pinang Village Rambutan District Banyuasin Regency was included in the medium criteria with the score of 32.4. The results showed that the average income of farmers after climate change was 8.932.445, With an average acceptance of 17.080.633,33 per hectare. Based on the result of spearman rank correlation test, significance value between farmer perception and farmer production from rice farming was positive correlation between perception of farmer with production and earnings of farmer in rice farming where significance value bigger than (α = 0,05) meaning that Ho is rejected,
