Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce an educational game tool metamorphosis butterfly for children Group B in kindergarten that tested valid and practical. In this study using Rowntree research model and Tessmer formative evaluation stage using four stages, namely self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation and small group evaluation. The results of the validity of the material is equal to 87.5% with a very valid category and the validity of the media by 75% to obtain the average validity of the product by 81.25% with valid categories. Due to the covid-19 period, this study was carried out in an environment where researchers lived with 6 children as samples. At the stage of one to one evaluation researchers get results of 91.6% and the small group stage obtained results of 92.3% so that the average value of 91.95% with a very practical category because it meets the criteria easy to use by children, can attract the attention of children and safe to use by children.
