Abstract

The development of the world of information and communication technology provides many benefits for the community, including the benefits of communicating with one another. This long-distance communication is supported by the internet, whether communication is done via chat, telephone or video calls. However, it doesn't always run smoothly, there are many obstacles, one of which is inadequate signal conditions, Delays and other security. One of the video conferencing services that offers excellent service quality, including Jitsi and Zoom, from the Quality of Service and data security they have. The author will compare the Quality of Service of Jitsi and Zoom video conferences so that they become user references according to their respective needs by using Throughput, Delay and Packet Loss with the results using the TIPHON Packet Loss standard at Jitsi showing a value of 0%, Throughput and Delay values on Zoom has a value of 1.404 mb and 4.5313 ms and Packet Loss on Zoom shows only has a value of 0.012%.
