Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of physical self-acceptance of eighth grade students in the 2017/2018 school year of SMP Negeri 1 North Indralaya. Among 150 students were selected a sample using a proportional random sampling technique amounted of 44 students. The Instrument for collecting the data was questionnaire, measuring level of self acceptance physical aspects of self-understanding, self perspective, stability of self-concept, realistic expectations, and no emotional stress. Results from this study data showed that the rate of students' physical self-acceptance at the high category with the highest data gained 57%, which means that a class VIII student of the school year 2017/2018 in SMP Negeri 1 North Indralaya classified able to accomplish the tasks of adolescent development that one of the tasks development of adolescents are receiving state of the body.
