Abstract

This research is entitled "Application of the Principles of Accountability and Transparency in Providing Settlement Fire Assistance by the Social Service of Ogan Ilir Regency in Pemulutan District in 2021". This Study aims to determine the application of the principles of good governance in the service of fire victims by the Social Service of Ogan Ilir Regency in Pemulutan District. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Source of data obtained from primary data and secondary data, data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. This study uses the concept of Sedarmayanti regarding the principles of Accountability and Transparency and uses the assessment indicators proposed by BAPPENAS. The results of this study indicate that the application of the principles of accountability and transparency in the service of fire victims by the Social Service of Ogan Ilir Regency in Pemulutan District has not been good, this can be seen from the fulfillment of basic needs that must be provided by the Social Service of Ogan Ilir Regency in Pemulutan District, and guaranteed their right to obtain valid and open information is not necessarily certain.
