Abstract

Angka kejadian diare pada anak masih tinggi. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kepatuhan dokter terhadap standar terapi diare akut masih rendah. Peneliti ingin mengetahui apakah penatalaksanaan diare akut di salah satu rumah sakit swasta di Palembang sudah mengikuti standar terapi yang sudah ada dalam hal ini standar terapi IDAI. Metode: Penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional menggunakan data rekam medik di RSI Siti Khadijah Palembang periode 1 Januari-31 Desember 2010 dimana sampel dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Hasil: Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 73 sampel. Kepatuhan pemberian terapi cairan sebanyak 73 sampel (100%), zink sebanyak 24 sampel (32,9%), nutrisi sebanyak 73 sampel (100%), antibiotik sebanyak 42 sampel (57,5%), dan edukasi sebanyak 73 sampel (100%). Kepatuhan terhadap standar terapi diare akut pada anak berdasarkan IDAI yang mencakup 5 komponen tersebut terdapat pada 11 sampel (15,1%) dan ketidakpatuhan terhadap standar terapi IDAI terdapat pada 62 sampel (84,9%). Kesimpulan: Kepatuhan dokter terhadap standar terapi diare akut pada anak di RSI Siti Khadijah periode 1 Januari-31 Desember 2010 rendah.
