Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul " Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Talking Stick Terhadap Motivasi Dan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah di Kelas X SMA Negeri 16 Palembang". Rumusan masalah antara lain untuk melihat apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sejarah di kelas X SMA Negeri 16 Palembang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 9 Mei - 6 Juni 2022. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen semu yang penerapannya hanya menggunakan satu sampel sebagai kelas eksperimen. Sampel yang digunakan sebagai kelas eksperimen adalah kelas X IPA 2 yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik simple random sampling sebagai penentuan sampel penelitian. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes angket pre-angket dan post-angket serta pretest dan posttest. Pada penelitian ini teknik prasyarat analisis data yang digunakan ialah teknik uji normalitas data, uji homogenitas data, uji linieritas data dan uji regresi sederhana dengan taraf signifikansi Fhitung > Ftabel dengan taraf ɑ = 0,05. Adapun hasil perhitungan data angket diperoleh Fhitung > Ftabel atau Fhitung = 21,81 > Ftabel = 4,10. Dan hasil perhitungan data tes diperoleh Fhitung > Ftabel atau Fhitung = 32,90 > Ftabel = 4,10. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick berpengaruh terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sejarah di kelas SMA Negeri 16 Palembang.
