Abstract
Preeclampsia is a one of the factor giving contribution to mother and infant morbidity and mortality is preeclampsia which the prevelance is estimated by WHO with a range 0,51-38,4%- Reducing of uteroplacental blood flow in preeclampsia’s mother will result a low birth weight baby. The research was conducted in Juli — December 2011 in Departmenet Obstetric and Gynecologic RSMH Palembang by using descriptive method with a retrospective approach. From this study, population obtained 267 and 108 samples (40,4%). Patients severe preeclampsia who gave birth to babies with low birth weight distribution according to maternal age 20-35 years dominate in this study were 62%, with most of the gestational age at term age as much as 78%. Gravida mother figure is higeshest ini multigeavid mothers (61,1%), and the number of maternal parity is most prevalent in pregnant primiparous ( 54,7%). All of patients had hypertension, proteiuria is mostly experienced as much as 94,4%, and who experienced edema asmuch as 80,6%. At distances of pregnancy 0-2 years occupying the highest ffequency of 53,4%, no one mother who died of severe preeclampsia, but there are babies died of mother with severe preeclampsia as much as 9,3%. Termination of pregnancy is mostly with spontaneous termination as much as 40,7% with low birth weight <2500 grams who dominate as many as 95,4%.
