Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis pupuk hayati yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman kelapa sawit belum menghasilkan di lahan gambut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Mei sampai bulan Oktober 2011 di Desa Bakung, Kecamatan Indralaya Utara, Ogan Ilir. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 ulangan terdiri dari 6 perlakuan yaitu tanpa pemupukan (Do), pupuk kimia dengan dosis 50% + pupuk hayati dengan dosis 50% (Di), pupuk kimia dengan dosis 50% + pupuk hayati dengan dosis 100% (D2), pupuk kimia dengan dosis 100% (D3), pupuk kimia dengan dosis 100% + pupuk hayati dengan dosis 50% (D4) dan pupuk kimia dengan dosis 100% + pupuk hayati dengan dosis 100% (D5). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pemupukan berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter pertambahan tinggi tanaman, pertambahan jumlah pelepah, kandungan klorofil daun dan kandungan N daun. Pemberian pupuk kimia dengan dosis 100% + pupuk hayati dengan dosis 50% (D4) memberikan perlakuan terbaik terhadap parameter pertambahan jumlah pelepah, berat kering anak daun, kandungan klorofil daun dan kandungan N daun.
