Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh inokulasi mikoriza terhadap pertumbuhan berbagai aksesi tanaman jarak pagar (Jatropha curcas L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Palembang pada bulan Januari 2011 sampai Juni 2011. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 12 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan dengan setiap perlakuan yang terdiri dari 5 unit tanaman. Setiap aksesi yang digunakan yaitu aksesi Palembang, aksesi Lampung, aksesi Aceh Besar (ABS), aksesi Yogyakarta, aksesi Solo dan aksesi Lahat yang diinokulasi dan tidak diinokulasi mikoriza. Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, laju tumbuh relatif dan derajat infeksi mikoriza. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inokulasi mikoriza dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun dan laju tumbuh relatif, serta berpengaruh nyata hingga sangat nyata terhadap parameter tersebut.
