Abstract

tew/gw prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) adalah pembesaran jinak kelenjar prostat yang banyak diderita oleh laki-laki. Pada tahun 2010, diperkirakan ada 92,4 juta kasus BPH pada laki-laki yang berusia di atas 50 tahun di tujuh negara yaitu Amerika, Jepang, Francis, Jerman, Italia, Spanyol dan Inggris. Di Indonesia Khususnya Sumatera Selatan, prevalensi BPH belum diketahui. Selain itu, berdasarkan penelitian teridentifikasi dapat disertai gambaran histopatologi jaringan prostat lain, seperti prostatitis, Prostatic Intraepithelial Neoplastik (PIN), Atypical Adenomatous Hyperplasia (AAH), Focal AcinarAtrophy (FAA). TujuanrMengetahui prevalensi dan distribusi gambaran histopatologi BPH pada pasien BPH di bagian Patologi Anatomi RSUP.Dr.Mohammad Hosein Palembang. Metode:Penelitian observasional deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional menggunakan data sekunder berupa rekam medik penderita BPH periode 2007 hingga 2010 di bagian Patologi Anatomi RSUP.Dr.Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Hasil:Dari 1361 penderita yang memeriksakan kelenjar prostat di bagian PA RSMH, 921 penderita di diagnosis pasti mengalami BPH. Angka prevalensi BPH dari Januari 2007 hingga Desember 2010 adalah 677 pasien per seribu pemeriksaan semua jaringan prostat di bagian PA RSMH. Penderita yang didiagnosis BPH tersebut rata-rata berumur 66,4 tahun. Usia termuda 30 tahun dan usia tertua 97 tahun. Gambaran histopatologi penyerta gambaran histopatologi BPH yaitu prostatitis baik Prostatitis Kronik Non Spesifik (PKNS) maupun Prostatitis Kronik Spesifik (PKS), Prostatic Intraepithelial Neoplasia (PIN), Atypical Adenomatous Hyperplasia (AAH), Focal Acinar Atrophy (FAA), Basal Cell Hyperplasia (BCH), Adenokarsinoma, Papiler Adenoma, Atipik ringan, Displasia ringan dan Komponen Papilomatik. Simpulan:Prevalensi BPH di Sumatera Selatan tinggi dan gambaran histopatologi yang banyak menyertai gambaran histopatologi penderita BPH di RSMH adalah Prostatitis Kronik Non Spesifik. sebelumnya, gambaran histopatologi BPH
