Abstract

Save The Children is a non-governmental organization engaged in the field of children. This organization is based in the UK, and has been doing its work to help children around the world. Save The Children's commitment to helping children has helped a lot, because this organization has a fairly extensive network The Rohingya ethnic problem in Myanmar has a big impact, including the impact on children. Rohingya refugees have crossed several countries, seeking asylum. Indonesia is one of the countries that is a destination or just a stopover. Among all types of age, children are one type of age that is the main concern. Through Save The Children Indonesia, this organization helps the problem of refugee children - these children. With the help of Save The Children Indonesia, these children can be helped for their survival while here. Assistance in granting children 's rights to them, was carried out to help relieve these child refugees when they arrived in Indonesia. Through the Save The Children work flow, the assistance provided can help these refugee children. Given, the limited conditions in the refugee environment will endanger these children. Based on the role of NGO’s as described by Katie Willis, NGOs themselves can benefit the community based on Grassroot Development, in which there are two steps, namely through Participation & Empowerment. From this, Save The Child can be expected to help provide children's rights to Rohingya children. Therefore, this assistance in granting children's rights is intended to provide first aid for these children, both long term and short term.
