Abstract

ABSTRACT Clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) of households in Pemulutan District with the worst percentage of 46.0% means that it has not reached the PHBS target set by the Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia in 2015-2019 of 80%. The purpose of this study is to analyze factors that affect clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) in households in Pemulutan Subdistrict. This research is quantitative research using cross sectional method analytical study design. The population in this study is 46 housewives consisting of five villages. Sampling by simple random sampling, after which the data is collected by interviewing housewives using questionnaires. The data was analyzed using Univariate and Bivariate analysis with the chi square test. Based on the results of the study, it showed that there was no significant relationship between variable age (p-value = 0.317), education level (p-value = 0.399), knowledge (p-value = 0.603), attitude (p-value = 0,497), availability of facilities and infrastructure (p-value = 0,327), the role of health workers (p-value = 0,754) with clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) in households in Pemulutan Subdistrict. From the results of the research that has been done, it can be said that there is no relationship between clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) in households in Pemulutan District.
