Abstract

Global warming is a continuous increase in temperature on earth that affects ecosystems and disrupts the ecological balance on the planet, namely the earth. Buildings produce nearly 40% of all greenhouse gas emissions, therefore one of the steps to reduce the impact of greenhouse gas emissions is to apply the concept of environmentally friendly buildings or green buildings. Buildings cover several related aspects ranging from planning, design, construction, operation and recycling or renewal at the end of their life with various considerations, namely in terms of air, energy, indoor environmental quality, location, and material selection. The influence of the water aspect in green buildings is very influential because the use of clean water is quite high with the number of Indonesian population increasing every year. The use of clean water in the community that makes clean water into waste water that cannot be used so that the availability of clean water is decreasing. Green buildings have been developed in several countries. However, it has limitations in determining the importance of each indicator in the green building system. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach. Data collection for this study was carried out using a survey questionnaire via google form. In this study, to determine the level of importance using the Likert scale method, previously the data tested were tested first, namely the validity and reliability tests. The results of this study assessed the assessment of each criterion using Microsoft Excel, namely the criteria for installing a water meter 76,42%, criteria for calculating water use 84.10%, reducing water use 83.57%, criteria for water features 77.5%, air recycling 78.75%, 78.57% alternative air sources, 73.75% rainwater storage and 78.75% landscape air use efficiency.
