Abstract
Bengkulu is earthquake-prone province. It’s because Bengkulu is a meeting point of two tectonic plates: Indo-Australian plate and Eurasian plate. Research has been done by using arrival time of P-wave of Bengkulu earthquake at 2.1°S – 6.1°S until 99.8 °E -104.5 °E, with 1.0-9.5 SR magnitude, and the data take 628 earthquake samples from January 2014 to August 2017. Hypocenter determination using using the global speed model is used as the initial velocity model. This research used VELEST 3.3 as coupled velocity-hypocenter method with output in the form of a model local velocity, hipocenter relocation and station correction. The result of this research show simultaneous convergent inversion process at iteration 25with rms value 0.32 and the relocation show of the change of hipocenter locate more accurate. Station correction is owned by 19 observer station are diverse value with the biggest correction who is owned by LWLI station –1.151 second and the smallest correction who is owned by SBJI station -0.198 second.
