Abstract
This research discuss about the making of human's face shape recognition software. Police have been using face shape recognition in people's characteristics data collections. Classification of the face shape follow the classifications used by the police. There are 4 classifications used by police, which are round, rectangle, triangle, and oval. Processing informartions on computer could be done by differentiatig the skin colours and jawline of the faces captured. The software in this study use HSV method to identify the skin's colours and use multi-tresholding method to separates objects on the processed face images. results of processing digital image using the software in this study has up to 70.3% accuracy.
