Abstract

In this research, The writer purpose to design a tracking system for the position of an object in the warehousing field using LANDMARC method. This LANDMARC method referring to Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) value obtained from the reference tag and target tag has been compiled accordingly. This research is done with 3 antennas, 1 reader, 10 reference tags and 1 target tag where the target tag will be estimated position. The design plan in this research is a room with a length of 2.5 meters and a width of 1 meter with 3 positions of the antenna tilting angle where the best angle of the three positions will be searched to become the basic for the calculating. The result of this research displaying position of the best antenna with 63.495733°, with estimated position Xe = 0.185813, Ye = 1.380424 and an error of 0.020029 in meters and average error is 0.0484086667 in meters.
